Paula-Fürst-School

The schoolyard was adapted from a predominantly sealed area with large existing trees to meet the changing needs of pupils in grades 1 to 13. An extensive participation process with representatives from all grades formed the starting point for the subsequent planning. So far, we have completed two construction phases of the overall project.
For the primary school years, a natural play landscape with a tailor-made climbing course and a water play area was created. The older age groups can relax on numerous different seating areas under shady trees, spend time in a pavilion surrounded by greenery or simply "see and be seen". The design of the topography and extensive planting create different spaces and improve the microclimate in the courtyard.
