Seewinkel Daycare

The ecological design of the nursery garden blends harmoniously into the landscape thanks to the special location of the site of the new nursery near the Dämeritzsee lake in Berlin-Köpenick. The near-natural play area offers a green hilly landscape for exploration and creates spaces with different qualities – from active play (climbing, balancing, digging, sliding) to retreat (seating platforms, play islands, shrubbery hideaways). Climate-adapted and robust greenery helps to improve the local microclimate. The necessary functional areas are planned and integrated in the front garden of the daycare center.
